Employment Opportunities
Hello and welcome to Driver Link's, my name is Michael, 4 years ago I was working in a ford dealership as a auto technitian, when I came across an ad in the news paper for cdl drivers wanted. They where offering free training and paid room and board for the 2 1/2 weeks of school. I had been working in the dealership for 3 years and hated every day of it. So I figured why not. So off to St louis I went. At first I was a little worried but after I had a chance to drive a truck I realized it wasent that hard after all. 2 1/2 weeks later I was sponsored and hired on with a small trucking company in Arkansas. I worked for them a little over a year and just as they promised, my Driving School tuition was paid in full. Its not a very hard job at all, and there are many good benifits that come with the job. You'll never have a boss looking over your shoulders checking your work and giving you hard times, Never have to punch a time clock, You can pretty much come and go as we please. If i want to go to the mall I go! or maybe ill go see a movie. Or maybe your not feeling real motivated today and want to take the rest of the day off.. The bottom line is theres a lot of freedom in being a truck driver. Become a truck driver, Enjoy live on the road and get paid for it!!
